As our group decided to film parts of the movie from a point-of-view perspective we went and researched openings of films and found this Paranormal Activity trailer a good example of using the camera from a POV view and also using the camera hand-held.  In Paranormal Activity the film is all from a POV view, in this movie it is very effective as they use slow movements in scary moments to build up tension and engage the audience into the horror and mystery of the film which is something we are going to try and incorporate in our film.  Paranormal Activity attracted audiences filming their trailer upon the people that first viewed this film. Thus attracting audiences as they will see their reactions to scary events in the film making them want to watch as they will know its good by peoples reactions in the trailer. This is something that our group needs to carry out during our media production, we could get the reactions of some students in our school and use them as part of our trailer to attract audiences just like Paranormal Activity does.
